A Safe, Non-Surgical Way to Control Myopia

Ortho-K gives kids the freedom to see clearly all day without eyeglasses or daytime contacts, while helping slow the progression of nearsightedness to protect long-term vision health.

What Is Ortho-K?

Ortho-K, or orthokeratology, is a custom-designed rigid lens worn overnight. While your child sleeps, the lens reshapes the cornea, which is the clear front surface of the eye. This helps light focus properly when they wake up.

In the morning, your child removes the lenses and enjoys clear vision all day. No eyeglasses. No daytime contact lenses. Just freedom to play, learn, and move confidently.

How Does Ortho-K Work?

Ortho-K gently flattens the center of the cornea overnight. This temporarily changes the shape of the eye, correcting nearsightedness. The lenses must be worn nightly to maintain results, but the process is safe, effective, and completely reversible.

What to expect:

  1. FDA-approved and non-surgical

  2. Comfortable and custom-fit for each child

  3. Ideal for active kids and teens

  4. Proven to slow myopia progression when started early

We schedule regular follow-ups to make sure the fit is perfect and progress is closely monitored.

Is Ortho-K the Right Fit for You or Your Child?

Ortho-K may be a great fit for:

  • Children with worsening myopia

  • Active kids who don’t want to wear glasses during the day

  • Families who want to delay or avoid LASIK

  • Parents who want to protect their child’s long-term vision

Most Ortho-K wearers start around age 7 or older, depending on their maturity and eye shape. We’ll help you decide what’s best for your child.
